In the first part of the 21st century, the celebration of Valentine's Day in Iran has long been harshly criticized by Islamic lecturers who begin to see the celebrations as opposed to Islamic lifestyle. In 2011, the Iranian printing functions homeowners' union issued a directive banning the printing and distribution of any items promoting the holid
